The aim of the society is to provide medical aids facility to poor and needy people.

Hon.Shri Vasantrao T. Mohite has founded the aforesaid Charitable Trust with the sublime view of serving  the masses in rural area. Its main aim is to benefit the needy  people. Nowadays there is a considerable growth in strains and stresses in the lives of people. Besides the crisis of rising prices is a headache. The public health has been severely affected due to the lack of adequate food, pure water, clean air and suitable shelter. People are  helplessly suffering  from dangerous diseases and medical treatment is beyond their reach. The patients have to go through various health tests which are very costly. Even the cost of medicines are so high that the sickness is a disaster to the poor. Both the young and old  succumb to death on account of inadequate medical treatment. There is ignorance and poverty on a large scale in rural area. Medical facilities are not available in the villages. In such circumstances, people have no alterative except to depend on unhygienic and perilous treatment at the hands of quacks. Similarly, some people become victims of superstitions.

Taking into consideration the pros and cons of the present critical situations, the following objectives of the trust have been determined.
1. The trust shall organize different medical camps in order to provide guidance to the masses  to maintain public health.
2. The trust shall run make provision for the diagnosis and treatment of the masses.
3. The trust shall run dispensaries, so that the needy people will avail themselves of medical facilities.
4. The trust shall make provision for purchasing medical equipment of all kinds to facilitate different types of health tests at low cost.
5. The trust shall make provision of the fund financial aid to the needy people in the society.

The trust has been aptly entitled after SWAMI VIVEKANAND. Swami Viveknand not only expanded and  propagated Universal religion and Humanism in the world but also served the downtrodden  in India-through the medium of Shri Ramkrishna Mission. The motto of this trust is  "Shivbhave Jeevseva" which was the advice of Shri Ramkrishna Paramhansa to his disciplines. To see God among the  downtrodden and serve them is the genuine worship of God. And it is our determination to run this trust by implementation of the same doctrine.

Shri Vasantrao Tatyasaheb Mohite has accepted the President ship of this trust in the spirit of selfless service of humanity. Similarly the rest of the trustees are free from any political inclination and are devoted to the cause. On other hand, they are public spirit representatives of all sections of society. They have entered public life honestly and devotedly and always strive to fulfill the noble task of this  trust. The trust will germinate and sprout into an enormous tree of the service to humanity.

We are aware of the fact that it is impossible to run the trust without monetary support from the benign gentlemen and organization who have an  awareness of serving humanity. We therefore, appeal you all to share and participate in the sacred task and donate generously to the trust.
